This French frame is a one of a kind masterpiece. It is made of 22k gilded bronze circa 1890. The narrow elegant border is etched leaves between rows of tiny beads. A French ribbon and a pair of torches sit on top of an olive branch. The focus of this beautiful piece lies on the corner art. Each on is enameled in a deep royal blue, with an inset oval surrounded by gilded leaves. The mat is cut in an arch that echoes the corner detail.
