Description:
This gorgeous frame is a simple, yet elaborate French antique circa 1870-1880. It is made of 22k gilded bronze. The outer border has a fine etching of a leafy vine that winds around the edge between two layers of tiny, delicate beading. An elaborate swag of gilded rosebuds, daisies, and grapes gather to meet in the center beneath the French torch and bow. The gilded back is full metal with a sturdy forked easel.
