Description:
This vintage frame is a stunning example of a French reproduction. It was made in the U.S. circa 1930's.  It is made of gilded brass etched with leaves and pansies along the outer edge. The black background of the frame was made by painting on the reverse side of the glass. Teardrop shaped filigree molds the corners. A hand painted Victorian beauty adorns the round glass medallion at the top.
