Description:
This lovely classic antique picture frame was made in France circa 1880’s. It is
made of gilded (22k) brass. The outer frame border shows a delicate rope design
that accents the tiny mesh detail of the inner border. White embroidered ribbons
top the exquisite beige satin mat, and shows off the embroidery (vines of
delicate eggshell and pink colored rosettes with sage and olive leaves) beneath.
A traditional gilded laurel wreath and ribbon crest the frame top. The photo
opening is 4” x 5.25”. The price is $3295.
