Ah, love! This magnificent antique heart frame comes from France circa 1880’s. It is made of softly gilded (18kt) bronze. The ornate border is made with a motif of gilded and etched feathers that connect to form the classic heart shape. A traditional French ribbon crowns the top. The back is gilded bronze as well, and the easel back is a forked stem style. This is a perfect companion piece to style #373.
