Description:
This regal antique frame will command your attention!  It was made in France circa 1890’s of gilded bronze.  The outer border shows a band of etched laurel leaves.  Next to that is a band of finely ribbed etching and a tiny inner bead. The inner mat is made of wood, and has a circular opening.  Bronze gilded icons of urns overflowing with flowers sit at the bottom of the mat.  An ornate floral swag drapes across the top, with wreathes beneath.  A rolling floral wreath crowns the top. The easel back is gilded bronze as well.
