Description:
This enchanting picture frame is a one of a kind collector’s piece. It was made in France circa 1890’s of gilded (18kt) bronze. The outer border of this unique round frame is elegantly embossed with tiny laurel leaves and etched ribbing. The stunning mat is embroidered by hand showing delicate flowers all around in shades of ivory, cream, and beige. Accents of sage green embroidered leaves abound. Bronze metallic threads were used to create the lacey borders. A traditional French bow adorns the top, and tiny gold ball feet support the base.
