Description:
This vibrantly colored frame was made in the U.S. circa 1930's. It is made of gilded brass in the traditional French style. The spring green background color is made by painting on the reverse side of the glass. The sides are adorned with diamond shaped filigree and accented by emerald and ruby colored crystals. A delicate garden scene is hand painted on a ceramic cabochon which crowns the top.
